Dynamic Balancing

Imbalance is one of the most common problems encountered in rotating machinery. It can result in increased overall vibration levels, premature equipment failure, loss of production and increased maintenance costs. Imbalance can be caused by many sources, including buildup of contaminants and loss of material from or change in shape of the rotating element.

Krauth Electric Company's Comprehensive Predictive Reliability (CPR) program, a complete Predictive Maintenance (PdM) program, gives clients a one-stop source to accurately diagnose and correct unbalance in various machinery types. When detected as part of a routine CPR analysis, we can generally balance the equipment in place, saving considerable equipment downtime.

When the equipment cannot be balanced in place, it can be balanced in our shop. We routinely dynamically balance the rotating element of any equipment we repair in our shop.
